Nothing, fascinate me more than when a brand entwines the past with the future. It makes you glance at the overall look and go, well damn (heart eyes). I love the Gucci Cruise 2017 collection. It’s a mixture of old English aesthetic with a lot of embroideries, vibrant colors and different dimensional shapes… it’s just everything you can ask for in one collection. I felt it, you would feel it to if you peak through the look book itself. Your IG timeline and maybe even Tumblr and twitter is probably flooding with the Gucci sneakers from the Gucci Cruise collection. It’s so poppin, that people are picking up a few ideas and duplicating the whole concept—putting embroideries flower patches on their AF1 or old skool vans. Nothing wrong with a little inspo effect, that’s how you know you made it.

I got my kicks from South Coast Plaza inside the Gucci store as a gift from my boyfriend. Originally, I wanted to cop the lightning one—but it’s only carried in men size. The biggest men size is a size 6 US. So, I settled with the heart sneaker, which is also cute AF. For the sizing part- it is a bit larger and is not true to size. I am a size 7 Women US, so I went down to a size 6.5—which fits perfectly. The quality is A1 leather goodness. I love the back details of the shoes as well, it says GUCCI with the opposite color of red and green. The Gucci stripe is also noticeable with different spots of heart all over the kicks. The retail price is $595 US dollars online and inshore.

If you’re contemplating if you should cop them or not, because of the price value. I just say cop it anyways. Don’t think, just do it. 100% worth it fam.
